Shipping & Returns


Peter Van the Party Man has a flat rate shipping price for all standard Australia Post size orders made in Australia. The shipping price is $9.95. The delivery rates apply to standard delivery of orders via regular Australia Post. 

  •  $9.95 Flat Rate Shipping does NOT apply to balloon/decoration deliveries.

Orders that include items such as Plastic Tableware, Table Cloth Rolls and Piñatas may incur extra postage fees. This is due to the weight and large size of these products. Large orders to the NT, WA or rural areas may also incur excess delivery fees if it does not fit in an Australia Post Satchel. Should an order weigh over the average weight, Peter Vans will contact you with a freight quote for your approval prior to shipment. Please also note that Items that are classed as dangerous goods including aerosol cans, sparklers, helium cylinders and party poppers will need to be sent via our chosen courier, we will contact you regarding any additional charges.

Parcel deliveries are made between 8.30am and 5.00pm from Monday to Friday by Australia Post & Courier.

For orders placed before 4.00pm on a weekday, please allow from the confirmation of dispatch:
•    4-6 working days for delivery to a capital city in any State;
•    5-10 working days for delivery to most large regional towns;
•    7-14 working days for delivery to other remote locations

If you were in need of your order in a shorter time frame please note in your shipping section and we will contact you directly to arrange alternative shipping at an additional cost.




While we are keen on making your shopping experience a memorable one, our return policy does not apply to costumes and accessories due to hygiene reasons.

Items are only refundable if:
•    We have made an error on your order
•    There is a damage to your order obtained during shipping

If you have made an error of purchase on your part (size, colour, etc.), Peter Van The Party Man will offer an exchange or credit note to the value of items returned under the following conditions:
•    The products must be as when purchased (unused, undamaged and in their original packaging)
•    All products must be returned within 15 days of purchase and accompanied by proof of purchase
•    No refunds, returns or exchanges on personalised items

Apart from returns for damaged products, all product must be returned in a saleable condition. It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that all returns are packaged in order to prevent damage during transit.
